Well I finally crawled under my Jeep and did some overdue maintenance. I discovered the rear axle U-joint was partially seized so I replaced it. Boy those U-joints are stubborn. It took a lot of whacks with a BFG to get the old one out.
I checked the front axle's unit bearings, the driver's side is sloppy. I'll buy a new one tomorrow and put it on later this month. Also I checked the front axle's fluid level.
I tightened the hardtop's fastening bolts and repaired the manifold to muffler connection. The bolts had come loose.
Now I'm all ready for the runs this weekend.
