I was discussing these DELL ads with my son just the other day. I was telling him about the early days of computers when a basic system would cost you thousands of dollars WoW , a dual core 1.8 Gigahertz processor, a 320 Gig hard drive and 2 Gig memory. That's impressive. I don't mean to hi-jack this thresd Johnny but I will anyways. I remember seeing a pallet of brand new obsolete Pentium 90 computers sitting in the hallways of a local hospital. By the time a hospital administrator decided which computer to buy and who to buy them from and get authorization for the purchase and the equipment delivered the computers were obsolete ;D In the basements of many hospitals you will find lots of old computer equipment (minus the hard drives). The smartest hospital corporations I know actually lease the computers. In Halifax they have to chain, yes chain their computer equipment down. Stuff goes missing all too often.
