I'm still new to off roading so I'm still learning the rules of the trails. I know enough to stay off private land but I'm still learning the other rules.
I thought anywhere an ATV goes I can go, as long as the trail isn't too narrow. Today I met an ATV on a posted trail for ATV's and learned that Jeeps are to stay off and can be charged. I apologized and told him I was heading straight out of the woods. Too bad, the trail was nice, challenging.
Also I've realized some of the trails I often run are too wet and its easy to mess them up. I'm going to have to stay off them until things dry up.
I'll have to find somewhere else to run now. I hear there's a nice mud run next weekend ;D

So there's no fine? like when you travel on a snowmobile trail in their season?
Man, that trail was narrow. At one point I was slipping between two trees scrubbing both fenders ;D It went about Dalhousie Mountain on the west side.
