I imagine you have read the posts on other forums about the Frankenlift? Take notice of the upper control arm hitting the spring, and where the control arm bolts to the body. Some people have trouble with these areas.
Full droop, the UCA hits the spring.Full compression, the UCA may hit the sheet metal above the UCA bushing mount pocket. This is where the front extended bump stops will help.
Just a heads up.
National?? Is that down in Fredericton? I think I priced a kit thru him. He was suggesting the Skyjacker kit. I decided against that option.
Can't wait till you get her installed. I want to see how much lift you do get.

Actually now that you mention it, I didn't get a real good feeling when I talked to them. Glad I went my own way.

Say that Libby looks a lot like mine, except for the bull bar on the front. Why did the fellow seel the lift Derick? I try to deal with shops located here in NB & NS like National 4WD, Rog & Ron's, Ray Jay's & APJ's. I haven't had any problems with them. I don't like to buy from the US because of hidden charges. Who is All J's and where are they located? Now Paul, be honest. You bought a used POS transmission from one of the people who happen to work at National 4WD not from the shop. And lastly, yes I managed to get transmission oil in my hair Sunday night as Paul & I dropped my transmission to replace the clutch. If you'd care to do your lift in Paul's garage Johnny I imagine Paul wouldn't have a problem with it. He's installed a few lifts in the garage from YJ's & TJ's to Toyota's. He's yet to do a Libby.

Now Paul, be honest. You bought a used POS transmission from one of the people who happen to work at National 4WD not from the shop. it was a transmision comming from national 4wd tru ted, and i was told it was rebuilded 2 month before it was pulled and was replaced with a bigger one, i asked him wath would happen if it did not work and he told me i would get my money back but it would not happen since he garanteed it would work fine, so i bougth it , installed it and the pos was slipping like crazy, when i took it off it was full off water and the clucth where all pulling apart from the plate because this transmision had been swamped bad, now they told me to go fuck myself when i asked for my money back, they are liar and asshole, and further more i am not interested in dealing or saying anything good about them , and i will not install anything that comes from them in my garage....they can suck my dick and lick my anus before i even say a good word about them , and even then i would still fuck them over , i do not deal with dishonnest people and i remember for a long time when i get screwed ... this is the truth and the honest truth... that is all

www.boulderbars.com/frankenlift.htmHome of the frankenlift... so this is a proper assembled lift kit. the LOST guys love this lift. One guy said he paid next to nothing in customs ... one guy paid 150$ but his order was about $500 more than just the lift ... Heather at all Js said customs was about 5% (baised on another customer) ... But I cannot wait... so I am paying ~1-200 more for the kit (Rogs price was $920 with a 30 day minimum wait) ... All Js for the Frankenlift I Premium (ome shocks instead of rancho) for 999.16 with shipping. so customs charges are anywhere from 50 to 150$ ... atleast I order and next week I have it ... none of this waiting crap (Im getting impatent ... especially when I said I would have this put on back in May ... I dont like commiting to something then postponing it so long!) Nationals got back to me and are more or less the same price as Rogs and Rons ...but both say minimum 3 weeks to get the parts ... ARG. you guys say Rogs is good, but maybe you have to meet him face to face first ... (maybe he hates kjs ... lol)

My lift was sold to me by a member over on L.O.S.T. because he sold his Libby, he bought a 1/2 ton for work I think. I did exactly what you did for the last month, I looked around and priced it separate, called Allj's and talked to Heather. I was just about to order it, when I spotted the lift I have now, so I bought it. The rears shocks were brand new never mounted OME's. So for what I paid for it I couldn't go wrong. I paid the guy on a wednesday and got it the next tues. Randy did you say you were getting a set of Moabs too? Your jeep would look good with anything on it, it has the right color for any mod...wheels....bumper....rack... If I had it to do all over again, I would have waited and bought a black '04 Renegade. Anyone have experience with wheel spacers? I 'm thinking on getting some 1.25-1.5" spacers. Don't worry lostkj, theres enough shine for everyone on this board. ;D

The Renegade has all of them. Why do you want wheel spacers Derick? Are your rims scraping the steering linkage? I would think that you might create some steering issues with that thick of a spacer. Don't worry about getting your lift on in a hurry Johnny. You've got the whole summer to get it and use it. And finally to Paul. Sorry pal, I guess I didn't know all the facts.
