One Great Weekend

Yes Paul, its been one great weekend.

All day Saturday I wheeled with you and your friends from your work and today before dark I managed to do a simple solo run about Dalhousie.

There's still snow on the trails but its shallow in spots. Like the last time I was on these trails about two weeks ago if you strayed off the well packed trail you quickly get into trouble.

I had to use the winch twice today. As I drove I watched the trail ahead of me while looking for the next tree that I may need to winch off of. The view was great on the trail, can't wait to come back again in the spring.

I've learned a great deal from my "Bathurst buddies" since I began wheelin with them last fall. I've learned the importance of airing down, not to spin the tires when stuck in the snow and that a winch is no substitute for good driving. thanks guys...

Just tonight I went for a quick run in the woods on a familiar trail, had a great time. Even though there's still deep snow in the woods and I got stuck a few times I was able to make it through without needing the winch once.
