well yesterday was the annual holy Friday 4x4 run up here in northern NB, there was like 150 truck total, most of them being a bunch of drunken idiot backing in each other,
this run took place on a hydro line , the priceless thing in it is we went with our group of 6 jeep including me on 36, Charles on 36 as well, randy and dean on 33,and two bone stock Rubi, it was quite a sight when we got to the run late and showed up in the back of the pack when the truck where all stopped and stuck in their track to see 6 jeep with original engine and drive train coming in the deep snow instead of the track, we wow them out from the get go since we where all breaking our own trail...lol
then the bunch of truck where mostly stuck everywhere and trying to extract there stick buddy around ,we went trough that mases of stuck truck like a knife in butter
people where stuck on the road and we where able to go around in the Field when they could not move on a packed road
we sure did show every body what a jeep is able to do, we where also the only group making a steep hill climb with out braking anything
it is true however that we where the only one wheeling with our head and we where the only aired down rig in there, but it was some funny to hear those cracker running full pin and going no where

nice right up Paul and we sure did them a good show and a lot of people were crazy and me and Dean were the only two who got hit and runned Dean was hit by a tracker guy and I got hit by a crazy guy head on with a gray jeep CYJ and the guys name is Paul Boudreau and the best thing about that guy is that he was straight with no booze or drug and I finally realize that a air bag only pops over 15km/H

We had a great time guys. The conditions were good and nobody broke anything. There were far too many people out there yesterday drinking and doing stupid stuff. They're the ones that give off roaders a bad name. Paul was right, we were the only ones interested in running the trail, everybody else was quite happy to stand around, drink beer, act stupid and watch people who were stuck or broke get pulled/winched out by us. I didn't see any of them lift a finger to help that broken blue YJ. Here's a link to my pics; bathurstjeep.proboards53.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=pics&thread=1175955177By the way, I managed to get home last night without losing my top or my brakes. I have a leak somewhere, had to refill my brake reservoir after I left the trail.

Haha, that Ford Escort is funny. To be accurate I think it was a two door Ford Probe body. You should have seen the dash, a real "Red Green" special. Definitely not fit for MVI. I can't speak for the other Jeep owners we met on the trail but I know that we six were there for wheelin not drinking. Can't wait to try that trail again in the spring.

That fellow with the Blue YJ didn't airdown. Maybe he hadn't expect to actually do any offroading that day. While he was broke down at the bottom of the hill nobody jumped in to help out except us. We could have been there all afternoon pulling people out of tight spots. I think he was able to repair a rear broken U-joint bracket and get home. Where were you Luc? We miss you on the trail? Is the TJ still not working?

Pretty sure it's an Escort Profile. Looks like the Pink one in my mothers driveway. Could be wrong though...I was wrong once in 1976. Probes only came in a 2door.

Sorry Dart but I had a Ford Probe once and looks exactly like this one and if you look at the pics you will see that it is a 2 DOOR ,..it's not an escort but to be sure though I will give you the benefit of the doubt and I will ask the owner what body the car is... when he is sobber of course hihihihi but I can almost guarantee it is a Ford Probe

Wasn't dsiputing the two door part as I said Probes only came in a 2 door. I'm gonna have to do some more research on this as I find it hard to believe I missed a whole body style of a car. I did spend much of the 90's high and or drunk though
