I've been researching about my choice of a spacer lift for my Libby. If I don't extend the bumpstops in the front end I could damage my front shocks/struts.
I'm buying the 30" tires off of Cindy's TJ but don't imagine there's many miles left on those tires so I'll be shopping for 31's too Johnny. I'll be sure to share with you the prices I get.

"Thank you for your interest in the Frankenlift I lift for your KJ. I checked with UPS and shipping to you in New Brunswick, Canada is shown below: UPS Standard
May 28, 2008 123.77 USD*
So....the Frankenlift I lift to your door is $959.30. I am not sure what customs fees are. I think I remember another customer of ours tell me that the fee is about 5% of the total parts cost...but again, I'm not totally certain."
that is from all J Products ... What do you guys think customs charge would be ... or Should I just say fuck it .. and go with Rons for $900 then buy bumperstops somewhere else ...

When you get your lift installed, give us some before and after measurements. Is the Franky assembled, or do you have to assemble it yourself? If the kit is un assembled, take a measure of the free standing height of the front coil. I just had a 2 day arguement with several people on spring rate and lift.... Are you running stock tire size? or do you have 245/75/16's?

Its probably un assembled as I am ordering the parts separately ... (not an official frankinlift ... but it is more or less that...
Stock tires (well new bought stock tires) ... Randy would know more about them as he's looked at them enough ... haha

By the way I've heard that a stock KJ is typically higher in the rear. I never noticed. Maybe you can measure your's Johnny before you do the lift. Since I'm still using the OEM coils the feel of the ride hasn't changed. I imagine if you replace the coils with longer coils you may experience a different ride. Doesn't "spring rate" refer to the compression ratio of the spring?

I am realy not liking Rons anymore ...
"I was started the invoice and checking stock. The rear shocks are backed order for at least 30 days(direct from Rancho)." fucking bastard ... he told me Rancho were kept on stock all the time ... he said he had those parts... ...
Now I am tempted to say fuck it ... and order from All J's and get a real frankenlift!

Yeah Randy, thats the amount of weight that it takes to deflect a coil 1 ". Stock KJ springs run a 310lb front spring.
Lostkj, thats exactly why I didn't order my kit in peices from a couple diffrent suppliers....the wait. I don't know if you did or not, but I was going to order stuff from 3 places to save costs, but when I thought about it, it wasn't woth it to me. Another reason I didn't have the cash at the time to order a Frankenlift.
My longer springs with the same spring rate(310#)give me mostly the same ride, just more travel . It handles on the highway great, and soaks up bumps on the rear 100 times better than the stock suspension.
My stock suspension sucked sucked sucked!! Frost heaves were not so bad, but small frost depressions where a pipe crosses the street, thats where the rear axel felt and sounded like it coming right up thru the rear floor. It hit really hard on the rear.

Well ... no I am not ordering from 3 spots ... all those parts from one guy ...
Right now I am expecting to pay ~1050 for a proper frankenlift from all Js products (shipping and customs) ... I emailed some guys from BC to see if they ship OME to NB ... waiting ... otherwise at the end of the week I say fuck it and pay $150 more than Rogs and rons and get a proper Frankenlift

"leave me alone... Ron hurt my feelings ... I feel like crying ... way too unfair he cannot get the parts sooner... Maybe I should decide to go with another seller and tell rons i do not want to do business with him for hurting my feelings." ... would you prefer the above statement or my "angry" version ... So yea ... If guys from BC and QE dont respond to me about the parts, I will order from all Js for ~1100$ (for everything) and get the Frankenlift I premium ... (man thats 8 business days of pay for me ... ouch ) ... lol ... no fancy bbqs for me for 2 weekends
