first you have to create an account on an image hosting service like www.photobucket.com or www.imageshack.com ..then after uploading your image on there hosting services you will see a code somtin like this [im]\bla bla bla this is the code you copy into the message box to get the picture into the forum...this code is a direct link to the picture you uploaded into the photobucket or imageshack try to put some pic into this post as a test i hope i anwser your question

whats easy too is if you have facebook and you have the pics posted there you can right click the image and select copy image URL (from chrome), it saves from having to post to an image hosting site.

photobucket is usually the one everyone use ..there is a lot ..i also use flikr works good
