Charles has one of the big tj's in town it's rollin on like 38's or something like that ya cool i know. And for your other question it doesnt matter but most people use teflon or other material close to that the spacers just look like big donuts.with the spacers you don't really have to change any of your steering parts the most maybe change your shocks to make up for the lift, but if you stay with your stock shocks you will limit your flex. For 31's a 2inch spacer will be lots but a 3inch you can possibly fit 33's I had a set of spacers on a tracker last year made out of teflon and they worked very well. But you cannot go bigger than a 3inch cause then you will have to change alot of other parts...BIG MONEY!!! but spacers will be the cheapest for you to lift your tj.
