Question regarding lift kit for jeep YJ. I looked at a rough country kit in Tracadie for 639.00 and I was talking to salesman at Rog and Ron in Shediac River today, he suggest a BDS for 1250.00 Where could I get a mechanic to install Any suggestion would be a help.

i instal them for 30 buck and hour , did upward of 19 jeep here so i know where i am going , as for the lift it depend on wath purpose you are going to use it for , rough contry is a nice soft ridding lift for the road, but if you beat it offroad it migth not last and it is only warantied for a year, bds is more expensive but a lot more quality in the product and built to last

Thanks Colin I'll introduce myself: Lives in St-Leolin Work in Newfoundland on Offshore vessels l I bought a 4" Rubicon Express lift for my YJ a couple of years ago for about $900 from 4WD National in Fredericton. Paul does good work, he installed my lift for me (thks Paul). Myself I'd go with the Rough Country lift simply because I'm cheap ;D and it would leave you more money for bigger tires.

Thanks Still on the body work hope to have finished and painted next week,then MVI. I wont be ready for the lift until I get back from work on May 21st, I'll send you a note when I get back. Again thanks for the reply. Colin
