Hi All, My name is Derick. I live in Perth-Andover. I bought an '04 KJ last October and have started the upgrade spending. ;D I am just starting to get onto trails now that the KJ is lifted 2.5" and have some better meats on it. Randy contacted me thru another forum (Jeep KJ Country), and found out we met at my work last week. So, I registered here too. Now I may have some closer wheeling buddies ;D Derick Here's a pic of my rig

Hey there Derick, welcome to our little renegade offroad club.
This is a very small group of Jeep owners who have chosen to create our own forum with no censorship, no fees. We're not prudes either. We'll go offroading with anyone whether or not they drive a Jeep or not.
Do you have any action pics of your Libby?
I'm interested to hear what accessories you have on your Libby. I understand you have front & rear tow points, do you have any skidplates?
The only skidplate I have is the front one. I need to get the gas tank one next then maybe the engine skidplate.
Johnny (lostkj) has ordered an OEM lift kit. I bet he'll want to talk with you to see how you like yours. He's got both his tow points and a few skidplates. I'm not sure which ones he's gotten on.
I've seen a lot of Libby's but few that are actually lifted. I have wheeled with one in Saint John last summer. He had a 2.5" Skyjacker lift and I was totally stock. I couldn't follow him.

I just put the lift on a month ago, so I haven't had much time to test the lift and new tires. I would like to get the engine and tran-case skids next. The only other things I have done is installed my stereo, changed out the headlight and fog light bulbs for the SilverStars. The fogs now have the 9005 ST 65 watt highbeam Silver Star bulbs. These bulbs really make a diffrence to the foglights. I put my kit on myself in my driveway. I use to turn wrenches for a living, so it wasn't that big a deal for me. While I was doing the install, I did the cleavis lift with the conduit nuts too. So I gained 2.5 to 3 " of lift. Without the lift, I wouldn't go too far off the beaten track, but now it gave the front the clearance I need and want. I was out yesterday...here's a couple pics. It doesn't look like much in these pics, but I would never had gotten thru here without the lift.

looks like the libby's arn't gay anymore there paul ... we are taking over by storm now ...
Is it just me or is it only the 2004s being modded... this is the third one ... (yea I know my lift is slow in the mail) ...
Im actually getting OME HD springs (front and rear) with Rancho front struts+Rancho rear shocks. I got front tow hooks and rear, plus gas tank skid ... the other 2 skids are on my floor waiting to be installed (need it lifted to see properly under there- so i wait until i get the kit)
I guess I take a look at your jeep pic once I home from work ... work likes to block pictures ... yay
Oh and welcome to the club ... PAUL don't scare off another ... haha

looks like the libby's arn't gay anymore there paul LOL The last time I asked Paul if he still thought Libby's were gay he said "No" but added that "Libby's aren't gay anymore because the Compass is more gay". Let's see if that hood bra you have fits your YJ Paul ;D
