I knew when I bought my winch that I'd need to replace the 600 CCA stock battery with a heftier type. Carquest has a 1000 CCA type on sale for a good price but its larger than the stock battery. The other day I was in WalMart and I happened to notice an Energizer Marine battery, 1000 CCA & its no wider than my stock battery... sweet...for only $68.99 And I was able to fasten the winch wiring to the two bolt terminals. Now there's no reason for not getting into trouble ;D

I'm no expert Luc but I don't think a new higher capacity battery will help you power your trail lamps. You will need a higher capacity alternator.
Hey, if you decide to sell a pair let me know. I could always use quality trail lamps ;D

I believe randy is right about the lights, although I think the same pricipal applies to the winch. I had a 1000CCA battery in my GM and only a 1500lb winch (for the plow) and there was still a noticeable draw on power. A good deep cycle battery would be a great battery upgrade, although they are much more than $68.99.
Good buy on a battery though.

Even with my 1000 CCA battery when I operate my M8000 winch there is a noticeable drop in voltage. I have to remember to rev my engine. Maybe I should run two 1000 CCA batteries? I'd need some big cables.

COuld always run a second battery just for the winch. Likey just be better off with a better altenator upgrade.
