ok i have a 8.8 from a bronco and i have a few question on he install,
1 i have noticed the d35 pinion centerline is 3/4 inch offset from the diff centerline, the 8.8 pinion center line is 1 inch offset from its diff center line, this make a difference of 1/4 inch in the offset of the 8.8 once it will be installed, to acheive the 1/4 inch difference i am already using a 1/4 inch spacer with a 1 and 1/4 inch bolted spacer, totaling 1 1/2 inc of spacer, should i use an other 1/4 inch spacer and have one on each side of the 1 1/4 inch bolted spacer (this would put my center line perfect, but my wheel on the other side would be 1/4 inc to wide) or 1/4 inch difference is not enuf to cause very much vibaration as long as i match my pinion angle up and down?
2 this is a stupid question , the total withd of the bronco axle get me short 1 inch on either side, if i put some spacer 1 1/4 inch , i guess it would not be very safe to have two bolt on spacer bolted togheter would it?
