I don't know, I suppose vehicle restoration is a great pastime for some people who have deep pockets & lots of free time. Maybe when I retire I'll buy one of those "project trucks" ;D Gotta luv the early Jeeps.

If you want a practical vehicle for a daily driver/weekend trail rig it would be best to by an early model TJ. There's a lot more to work with for less cash.
