hi all i have a 360 amc motor about 300 hp it still in jeep so you can hear it running it has fender well headers on it well sell for right price 360 been built about a year and half ago and it works great i can pull the front wheel off the ground easy on my old cj it works great i taking it out to oput in my amc 390 i have pic my number is 902 957 1759 oh ya asking 1000 for the motor

well its a 71 360 has 245 hp with 2 bb and 290 hp with 4 bbl stock motor came from a javelin a rv cam for torck was added elder block 4 bb dome and 1405 elderblock 4 bb car they dont go with the motor and the headman headers i have the headers going into real side pipes 3"in and 5 and half" out lol i have pic of me and my son doing a 4 wheel burn out next to a hemi swinger in pei this july 1 weekend its not lacking on power i twisted my body with it i know a lot of jeepers in bathurst that see my jeep it works great like i said im going 600 hp 1969 390 out of a amx i have every motor amc made here i even have 2 401 but if you want a motor to rock your world this is it i leave it in my jeep get in and hold on lol oh ya jeep steet legal

and the 401 are not for sale in the last 25 years of junking jeepsand amc cars i only ever found 2 and one 390 realy hard to find 360 i got like 4 here all before 1975

well like you said it make a great motor for the cj5 well i guess i would sell one 401 for the right price but chris up your way get some mad at me if i didnt sell it to him first lol

If your in the market for a AMC or Chrysler 360 - 400 4 bolt mains check out the scrap yards in British Columbia.
These motors are a dime a dozen there as they were very popular at one time. While I was there going rate for a complete motor was $1.00 per cubic inch.
Dana 60's complete went for $400.00 at that time as well and Dana 44's could be picked up in bulk for next to nothing.

no there not man amc motors are rare i wont say anything about chry. motor but i know there big money too i sold a 69 440 6-pack for 5500 no prob i sell more parts to bc and the other western privices so i know whats the going prices are dana 44 are selling for 400 each your right there but amc motors they only made one 4 bolt main 360 that was in 1970 and there was only 2501 made i have one it worth 10 grand i make money selling old motors been do amc /jeep for 25 years man but i could be wrong been wrong before lol but i like to have the web site where all these motors and i fly out west to buy them the 401 is the most sot out motor for amc

the 4 bigest amc/jeep junk yards in cananda i know them quit well and the one in montreal wont let a size up old looking v8 thats looks like it never run again for less than a grand i could sell all my parts to them but i dont just for that reason i run jeeps all my life i still have my first cj i sell parts to all my jeep friend here been doing it since 83 and i junk 5 jeep a week ask around up there you guys dont know me yet but othere in batherst been buying from me for years i sell new parts too i just tell a lot of people that if it wasnt for board like this one to help people with jeep and find jeep parts there be one hell of a monopley on jeep parts lol

Starting to wish I did not dump a couple 360,s a few years back.
The engine shop that built a couple motors for me is in Courteney BC and I believe the got the motors from Vancouver.

yes thats alway the way lol some of the stuff i dump over the years man i should be shot lol would that be s@s motors i know they have a engine shop in wash. state and one in bc some where s they build nice motors
